For those who think that Puerto Rico is just a place for party lovers and night life, we hereby announce that this is not the truth.
You can find bars, night clubs and tourist traps, if that is what you want, but fortunately you can choose for yourself what you want. The experience of our guests is, that they find Puerto Rico to be both quiet and peaceful. You sleep well and undisturbed at Sirena.
There are nice parks with miniature golf along from the beach, where both adults and children can have a nice time.
Puerto Rico has a nice beach and marinas, and for the sports fans there are plenty of offers in the harbour. You can rent sailing boats, but you can also go on a dolphin safari or play with the jet in the waves. There is a diving school, and several organized fishing trips.

Puerto Rico also has a yacht harbour. This is used by yachts from many countries.
The Canary Islands are strategically located for crossing the Atlantic. And evening stroll on the wharf or the pier, may therefore provide interesting experiences, and you will meet people from may countries.

You can avoid the big shopping centre, if you don't want to bargain. You will find what you need at the SPAR or the HIPER DIMO close to Sirena.
If you want to go for further shopping, you can take the boat either to Puerto Mogan og Arguineguin. To Puerto Mogan you can take a sightseeing boat with glass bottom, and you can enjoy a refreshing and interesting half hour boat trip along the south coast. In Arguineguin you can arrange for you own phone with a Norwegian company. (Ask Bianca at the reception desk). Then you can save money on messages and phone calls home.
After a day of shopping or sun bathing, you can enjoy a good dinner at a good restaurant in Puerto Rico. We can recommend the roof restaurant at Rio Piedras (our neighbour hotel), there you have a view of the beach and the sea. We also have good friends at the small seafood restaurant by the seashore Caballito de Mar. Friendly staff makes you feel special. Here they usually also recommend a good wine. We also recommend the typical Spanish restaurant at the Shopping Center Puerto Rico, Balcón Canario. They serve Tapas, Typical Canarian, Spanish and International Cuisine.
